Miley Cyrus Says Christian Faith Will Prevent Her from Turning into Britney Spears
Miley Cyrus was interviewed by Barbara Walters and was asked the same question she's always asked...how she won't end up like Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, or Jamie Lynn Spears. Miley answered:
"For me, as I know that some people don't have a family to fall back on like I have. And that's when something greater comes in and that's faith and that's what I have. For me, that's what keeps me strong. And I think a lot of people do have Christian families and they're just not seeing that they're so much greater than the materialistic things that are there right now like going out and that parties and whatever."
Even if Miley isn't sick of hearing the same question during almost every interview she has, everyone else must be! How the hell would she even know she's not going to get into ANY trouble like Britney, Lindsay or Jamie Lynn Spears? They've all said similar things when they were younger. She's so young and temptation in Hollywood is pretty hard to resist. Are her parents going to lock her up and make her stay at home so she can stay the good little Christian who's not going to party or have sex? Good luck! We can always hope for the best, but be prepared for the worst.

Miley Cyrus Proud of Jamie Lynne
'Hannah Montana' star Miley Cyrus is proud of her old pal Jamie Lynn Spears. Proud that she got knocked up at 15 you ask? Miley said she's proud of how she's handling her teen pregnancy.
"She's now really excited, so I'm proud of her," Cyrus told Us of Spears.
I don't know if "proud" is the exact word I would be using if I were Miley. If y'all remember little Jamie Lynn shocked the world by announcing her pregnancy a few month back. It's always the quiet ones I tell ya!
I have a feeling Miley is going to be a wild child when she finally turns 18. She's only 16 and there are already pictures of her in her underwear all over the internet. Source: Hollyscoop.com

Miley Cyrus an unsafe role model?
In a posting on their web site Monday, Consumer Reports calls out teen pop sensation Miley Cyrus for some unsafe behavior in her new film, Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour. The behavior in question? No, it’s not smoking or drinking or smashing up a hotel room. Instead, the consumer watchdog is upset at the 15-year-old for not buckling up.
The item singles out one scene in the movie where Miley and her dad, country star Billy Ray Cyrus, are riding in the backseat of a Range Rover and neither are wearing seatbelts.
But before you laugh this off, Consumer Reports does have some numbers on their side, stating that 55% of passenger vehicle fatalities in 2006 were folks who hadn’t buckled up. They also point out that this number increases to 65% for fatalities in Miley’s 13-to-15-year-old age group.
“It seems to us that Miley, her father, and Disney had a perfect opportunity to help influence teens and counteract—rather than encourage—this trend,” reads the article. “Then again, as Hannah herself sings, ‘Everybody makes mistakes.’”

Hannah Montana Fans Don't Mess Around
These Hannah Montana fans don’t mess around. A 16-year old kid has been arrested after the FBI learned that he planned on hijacking a Southwest plane while attempting to commit suicide.
"His stated intent was to hijack the airplane and commit suicide," a FBI spokesman said. "He did indicate he intended to die in Louisiana. It appears he had a ticket to Louisiana."
Crazy boy was from Louisiana and he apparently wanted to crash the plane into a Hanna Montana concert in Louisiana. He had some handcuffs, duct tape and yarn.
This kid just screwed up his entire life. He’s gonna look back when he is 30 and rotting in prison and feel like a total idiot. I bet he tried to get Hannah Montana concert tickets but they were sold out so he lost it.

Ashley Tisdale & Miley Cyrus are Hollywood’s new power girls
In the wake of the deaths of both Heath Ledger and Brad Renfro in the same week, a new generation of Hollywood’s power girls are speaking up. They’ve pledged that they will not wind up with the same tragic fate.
These young ladies tell Us they keep their heads on straight:
Says honoree Amanda Bynes, 21: “I don’t like to drink. I have definitely stayed out of the party scene. I’ve been offered to go to those parties, but I feel like I would be the one who would die if I did something.”
Of today’s out of control club-goers, she adds, “I don’t know how they think they’re gonna live forever.”
Echoes High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale, 22: “I don’t drink, and I don’t smoke. It’s a personal preference. My mom has never drunk or smoked. I look up to my mom.”
She tells Us she doesn’t get how her Hollywood counterparts can find time for clubbing.
“I don’t understand how people do it —I work non-stop! Then when I’m done working, I’m just so tired I just want to be home,” she says.
“Clubs are just not where I want to be photographed,” adds country singer Taylor Swift, 18.
She also says she realizes the impact her actions could have on her younger fans.
“For everything I do, I think about a 6-year-old girl and her mom that I saw at my concert last night,” she tells Us. “I think about what those two individuals would think if I were at a club last night.
“I never want to be arrested, and I never want to get a DUI,” Swift says. “Those are my moral values. I am an over-achiever, and I want to be known for the good things in my life.”
Childhood star-turned-teen queen Raven-Symone obeys a rule: “I like to be in by 1 or 2 a.m. because [you can get in more trouble] at night. Anytime really, but the night scares me sometimes.”
Miley Cyrus, 15 — Hollywood’s No. 1. power girl — offered this tip to today’s troubled young stars.
“The most important thing is really staying true to yourself,” she tells Us. “That’s what my mom taught me. She’s the most beautiful girl, not only on the outside but on the inside. She’s teaching me how to be a good person.”

Miley Cyrus speaks to ET about staying out of trouble, and being a role model.
Miley Cyrus tells ET that her parents have kept her in line through her sudden rise to fame, “I have to give it to my parents. They don’t tell me that I can’t do something. They say, ‘you know what, if this is your dream and it’s important to you, then go ahead and do it.’ It’s a trust thing. That’s what my parent’s relationship is built on. I trust my parents and my parents trust me.”
Using her father, Billy Ray Cyrus‘ experience in the spotlight as an example, Miley says she knows how to avoid burning out, “My dad says that we train like athletes. You’ve got to start slow, you can’t start out going into a sprint, or you will get tired and worn out. When you get tired and you’re not having fun anymore, then it becomes so much like work that you’re not even chasing your dream. That thing that keeps me strong is the little bit of fire that I do want to keep going.”
On being a role model for young girls, “I don’t want to be perfect, but I do want to be a role model. My mom always tells me that imperfections equal beauty. All of us are imperfect. I’m not always happy-go-lucky. I do get frustrated.”
The number one rule in the Cyrus household? “I’m always super respectful of my parents, that’s the biggest rule in our house, but they respect me back.” As for her personal life, Miley exclaims, “I’m single!”

Miley Cyrus reveals her stage magic
During her wildly popular concert, Miley Cyrus plays two roles: herself and Hannah Montana, her TV alter ego. Just how does she do it? A body double, of course!
“To help speed the transition from Hannah to Miley, there is a production element during the performance of ‘We Got the Party’ incorporating a body double for Miley,” Cyrus’s rep said in a statement to E! News.
The body double is only on stage for a minute or two during the singer’s song with the Jonas Brothers “in order to allow Miley to remove the Hannah wig and costume and transform into Miley for her solo set,” the rep explained.
In a video, which made the rounds on the Web last week and enraged some fans, the 15-year-old star is briefly cloaked in a black sheet to slip backstage (around the 2:30 minute mark) and the look-alike immediately emerges to finish the number.
Regardless of the stage trickery, her rep said, “Miley performs live during the entirety of both the Hannah and Miley segments of the concert.”

Miley Cyrus accused of using a stunt double
Hanna Montana star Miley Cyrus recently avoided a minor scandal involving some semi-racy pics of her with a female friend surfacing on the internet - but fans of the 15-year-old actress are feeling cheated following some apparent on stage shenanigans.
According to several disgruntled fans of the teen sensation - many of whom shelled out hundreds of dollars to watch the young singer perform live on her current sold-out national tour, Miley has not only been lip-syncing to her own songs, she has also been using a not very convincing “Hannah” double to cover for her on-stage while she goes off to make a costume change.
One Miley fan fumed to OK! Magazine: “When it got the to bridge of the song “We Got the Party,” her dancers began to crowd around her.
“Then they covered her with a black sheet and she went through a secret door. Within a second, a new ‘Hannah’ came out of a different door wearing oversized white glasses. The whole time this was happening Miley’s vocals were still playing. It was obvious that the song was being lip-synced. The new imposter had her back turned from the stage while she danced trying to hide that fact that was not Miley Cyrus. At this instant I became very suspicious.”
“Needless to say I was furious!” says the irate fan. “I paid good money to see the concert. I was disappointed and I felt like I was played for a fool.”
Miley’s rep did not respond to calls for comment.
