If I were Uma Thurman, I'd lock my doors. Today, a judge threw out a felony charge against a former mental patient accused of stalking her leaving him to face two misdemeanor counts.
Basically this guy's a psycho who said he would kill himself if he saw Uma with another man. But that wasn't enough for the judge, because he said it's not a threat to Uma's life.
Never mind the fact that he tried to get into her trailer on a set one time, and has sent her and her numerous emails. The trial is set for Feb. 5th, and Uma is expected testify.

Salma Hayek Partners Up With Pampers
Everyone's jumping on the UNICEF bandwagon these days. Next up? Salma Hayak, who's the new spokeswoman for the "One Pack One Vaccine" program, which will provide tetanus shots for needy mothers and their infants in the United States and Canada.
For every pack of Pampers diapers sold between April 1 and June 30, the company will donate funding to UNICEF for one maternal or neonatal tetanus vaccine.
The Pampers-UNICEF partnership has already provided more than 25 million vaccines to moms and babies in Western Europe.
It's actually nice to see how much the stars change when they have babies. Salma's daughter Valentina Paloma was born last September.

The Hollywood beauty proudly holds her stomach as she poses in a figure-revealing white Donna Karan dress for the cover of InStyle magazine in the U.S.
Asked how she is feeling, she says: “Fantastic! Right now I have so much joy and energy. I can just go and go and go.”
She also thinks she looks more beautiful than ever.
“My skin is aglow from all the hormones,” she says proudly. “I actually wear less make-up now, which is really good.
“I want to stay pregnant forever.”
Halle also says she wants the birth to be spectacular as it may be her only pregnancy. “I may only do this one time, so I want the moment to be as big as it can be. I want the biggest bang I can imagine.”
She says the baby will have boyfriend Gabriel Aubry’s surname - but they will not come up with a first name until the child is born.
“People are always saying, ‘You mean you haven’t picked out a name yet? But I don’t know how you name a baby until you meet it,” she said.

Laila Ali Joins The Early Show
Laila Ali has a new day job: The American Gladiators co-host is joining CBS's The Early Show as a contributing correspondent starting Jan. 11.
"I'll be doing pieces that are inspiring. I hope people walk away from what they see feeling good," Ali, 30, tells PEOPLE. "It's going to be a lot of fun."
"She's a great addition to the The Early Show team," says senior executive producer Shelley Ross. "She has been a dedicated educator and author in areas of heath and fitness. She has a spiritual side, while being a fearless competitor."
But would she ever compete in Gladiator stadium? "Uh, no," says Ali with a laugh. "Doing a bunch of different challenges and having TV involved, it's not my type of thing. It's more fun commentating and watching them from the sidelines.

R&B Singer Monica Welcomes a Baby Boy
Atlanta R&B singer Monica has another new man in her life: a baby boy, born Tuesday afternoon, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
The little guy is still awaiting a first name, but his middle name has been chosen – it's Montez, according to Monica's cousin and manager Melinda Dancil. The baby weighed in at 5 lbs., 6 oz. and was 19½ inches long.
Dancil tells the paper that mother and baby are fine – and that Monica, 27 (best known for '90s hits such as "The Boy Is Mine," with Brandy) had been recording her new album right up until the birth.

Mischa Barton Family Rep Rips Tabloid Story About Sister
A rep for Mischa Barton's family on Wednesday blasted a tabloid report that the actress's sister was hospitalized for a drug overdose.
"Mischa understands that as an actress and a public person she needs to address her issues in a timely and appropriate manner. That being said, she's the only public person in her family and we will not address these sleazy, tabloid reports," rep Howard Bragman tells PEOPLE. "I think these pieces of s--- who work at hospitals and sell private information are not only breaking the law, but they're morally reprehensible. They're selling people's private information for the price of dinner for four at Lawry's. And I hope they choke on their prime rib."
The National Enquirer reports that 19-year-old Hania Barton was hospitalized over the holidays after overdosing on a muscle relaxer.

Another 'Idol' Exit: McPhee Leaves RCA
Katharine McPhee has joined fellow "American Idol" contestants Taylor Hicks and Ruben Studdard as former members of the Sony BMG family. The artist has parted ways with RCA after a solitary album, a 2007 self-titled affair that debuted at No. 2 on The Billboard 200.
A label source confirmed McPhee's departure, which was first reported by Entertainment Weekly.
McPhee struggled to connect with a wide audience with her debut, which was led by the single "Over It." That track topped out at No. 22 on Billboard's Top 40 Mainstream chart and No. 29 on the Hot 100. The album has sold just 366,000 units in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
As McPhee told Billboard last year, she quickly realized the art of the compromise when it came to record the album, fresh off the road from the "American Idols Live" tour.
McPhee fell particularly in love with two tracks from producer Ryan Leslie, but then they wound up not making the cut. "I'm learning that's the way it goes in this business," she said. "You give and you take."
In contrast to "Idol" stars like Bo Bice and Hicks, who had already spent years pursuing a music career, McPhee's prior experience was limited to musical theater. Once in album-making mode, she also struggled with putting her own stamp on material that had been submitted by veteran songwriters.
"The demos, it's so hard once you hear whoever is singing to get that out of your head, especially for me, being new to recording," she said. Being able to craft songs with outside collaborators like Danja, Babyface and Kara DioGuardi generated "the memory of where we were when we were writing the song. There's a kind of history behind it."

The wife comes forward!
Adnan Ghalib’s wife has come forward, denying any part in a rumored financial scam to snare Britney Spears.
AzLynn Berry, who is separated from the paparazzo now dating the faltering pop tart, has reportedly moved out of Los Angeles to escape the whirlwind of attention the all-consuming story has caused, and told Access Hollywood in a phone interview, “I was chased down the street by two men in a BMW.”
This is not the first time Britney has taken up with a married man. Remember, her ex-husband and baby daddy Kevin Federline was married to Shar Jackson (who was actually expecting their second child together) when she stole him away from the Moesha star.
No stranger to cameras herself, Adnan’s 26-year-old wife is also, well … kinda hot. The Encino, Calif., resident finished second runner-up — out of 348 girls — in the National Face of Glamour Competition in 2006, and doesn’t exactly embarrass herself in the picture above.
Meanwhile, a neighbor is on record saying that Adnan and AzLynn “have an arrangement,” and AzLynn’s MySpace page says she’s “in a relationship,” so we’re not really sure what to think about all that.

Vince Vaughn: I Talk to Jennifer Aniston 'Constantly'
Though they've been apart romantically for more than a year, Vince Vaughn is still known as Jennifer Aniston's ex – and that's fine with him.
"I have such a great friendship with Jennifer," the host of Vince Vaughn's Wild West Show, 37, tells this Sunday's edition of Parade magazine. "Really, I still talk to her constantly. I have a real, genuine connection with Jen. And I have a real appreciation of her. That continues to this day."
The two, who starred together in summer 2006's The Break-Up, dated for a year and a half before breaking up in December 2006, yet their relationship has long remained amicable. In February 2007, he attended her 38th birthday party.
"I always try to keep my relationships quiet and my work at the forefront," Vaughn says.
"I haven't been someone to go and talk about those things, because that's not what I want to be known for," he adds. "In regular life, people date, and sometimes it works out, and sometimes it doesn't. We get more attention because we're more known."

Vaughn also says his perceived immaturity – like his 2005 Wedding Crashers costar, Owen Wilson, he's known as a big kid – hasn't affected his relationships.
"I've been fortunate that the women I've dated seriously get used to it, because I think I'm attentive and aware in other ways," Vaughn says.
"It hasn't hurt my relationships. It's not a big deal," he says. "With relationships, for me, the biggest foundation always is that you can laugh with each other, that you have fun with each other, because life really is made up of all the little moments. Of course, I also got better at communicating."
